Jeez time to play some more catch up on the blog.
Once again I’ve let the blog languish without updates for way too long (over two months!) So here are some of the photo highlights to get all caught up.
There that takes care of the month of May. I’ll put together a couple more updates for June and July.
Here are some more photos from the last week.
This is the beach at the end of the Anton Larsen trail. Tessa and I made the hike and were pretty tired by this point. The whole trail has matting down on it so it is fairly easy to hike but Tessa didn’t like the matting.
I made a trip up to the top of Pillar Mountain for sunset last week. This was an attempt to get the wind farm in motion while I was taking pictures. I used my neutral density filter and did a multiple exposure HDR merge to get this result.
Some more photos from recent walks with Tessa.
Here is yet another catching up post. For these shots we were on a hike out to Summit Lake here on the island. It was a gorgeous 5 or so mile hike out to the lake. It was cloudy the whole day for the most with the Sun breaking through occasionally but unfortunately not while I was taking photos.
This was my first really long hike with the D610 and the Peak Design sling strap and it performed admirably. No discomfort at all even with the 20-35mm lens on it which weighs a total of around 3.5 pounds.
That is it for this trip. More catching up to do later.
Too cold out right now for a walk so I figure I’ll update on here and try to catch up. This might be a really long post with a lot of photos.
Tessa and I have been getting out more for long walks usually to Fort Abercrombie and Mill Bay Beach because they are easy to walk to and a lot safer because of the bike path along Rezanof.
These first shots are with the D610 and a mix of lenses.
I always seem to let this site slip with updating on Facebook and Flickr. So here are some photos from recent walks.
Tessa and I have been walking to nearby parks a few times a week lately. I’ve been taking either my Sony A6000 or the Nikon D610 and their lenses with me while we wander around. It has been getting nicer and nicer here lately although still cold it hasn’t been raining too much lately. Anyway time to start off with the photos.
These photos were from our walk down to Spruce Cape. I used the Nikon D610 and the Nikkor 20-35mm f/2.8D lens for these.
I have a lot more to post so I’ll have to update a few more times before catching up.
